Do you require the ability to manage multiple ecommerce stores while accepting multiple currencies from your customers?
We recently completed an integration for “Spawn Cycles” that required us to set up two stores. We created one store for US customers and one for Canadian customers using the same Magento installation. “Spawn Cycles” required that the US customers pay in USD while the Canadian customers pay in CAD.
To make this happen we integrated Paypal Pro which allows a store owner to accept multiple currencies. From there, all we had to do was set each of the stores base currencies and we were done.
To reduce potential confusion when purchasing we also integrated a store switcher popup that let the user select their store.
This multi currency integration helped our client reduce checkout abandonment by 24%.
